Refund Policy
When exports and money come back to you: actions that fail, cancelling a plan, your right of withdrawal, and mistakes.
Last updated
In short
- A drawing or a photo that fails gives its exports back by itself.
- Cancel a plan at any time in Manage billing. It runs to the end of the month you paid for, and the exports it added stay yours.
- Exports are added the moment you pay, so a pack or a month that has started is not refunded, except for a mistake, a defect or what the law gives you.
- Money that goes back takes its exports back, as far as they are still there.
This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.
Contents
1. Exports for Actions That Fail
1.1Exports are spent when you start an action. They come back to your balance automatically, with a line in your usage history, when:
- the drawing or photo fails, on our side or at the AI provider;
- you cancel it before the AI provider has started it.
1.2Downloading a design you already paid for again, or in another format, is not charged a second time.
1.3An action that finished is not refunded because you do not like the result: the AI provider did the work. If a result is clearly broken, for example an empty or damaged file, a file that does not match its preview, or one that will not open in the software it was exported for, write to us and we fix it, return the exports or refund you.
2. How to Cancel Your Plan
- Sign in and open Account › Exports.
- Choose Manage billing. This opens Stripe's billing portal, which also holds your invoices and your card.
- Cancel your plan there and confirm.
2.1Or write to support@makerwizard.com from your account's address, and we cancel it no later than the next working day.
2.2Your plan runs until the end of the month you paid for and then does not renew. The exports it added stay yours, and you can use them after the plan ends.
3. Packs and Months You Paid For
3.1Exports you bought never expire, so a pack keeps its value for as long as your account exists. Once a pack's exports are added, we do not refund it, and we do not refund the rest of a month of a plan that has started, except as this policy sets out or where the law gives you a right to a refund.
3.2When we approve a refund, we send it within 10 working days to the payment method you used. How long it takes to reach you depends on your bank. The exports the refunded payment added are taken back from your balance, as far as they are still there.
4. EU Right of Withdrawal
4.1If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online, without giving a reason. Exports are digital content that we add to your account straight after payment, so at checkout we ask you to agree that we add them at once and to confirm that you then lose this right (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
4.2If you did not give that agreement, or we did not add the exports, you can still withdraw within 14 days: write to support@makerwizard.com, or use the model form at the end of the Terms of Service, and we refund the payment.
5. Changing Plans
- You can hold one plan at a time. To change plans, cancel yours in Manage billing, and choose the new plan once the month you paid for has ended.
- A plan adds its exports once per calendar month: a new plan that starts in a month in which a plan already added its exports adds them from its next renewal.
6. Refunds and Chargebacks From Your Bank
6.1If a payment is refunded, or your bank or card issuer reverses it (a chargeback), the exports it added are taken back from your balance, as far as they are still there; exports you spent before are not taken from what you buy later. If a chargeback is decided in our favour, the exports come back to your balance.
7. Payment Mistakes
7.1If you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged a different amount from the price you were shown, write to us. We check it and refund what was taken by mistake to the payment method you used.
8. If We Close Your Account or the Platform
8.1If we close your account without a fault on your part, permanently remove something in a way that leaves paid exports you cannot reasonably use, or close the Platform, we refund the exports you bought and have not spent.
9. Your Legal Rights
9.1Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under consumer protection law, including your rights if what you paid for is faulty. If you are unsure about your rights, contact your local consumer protection authority.
